Corrections for 2008

This letter is an astrological forecast of this year of the Rat. I don’t want to frighten you, but to point out a few difficulties or problems in certain fields, which you may prevent by taking the right precautions. Consider this letter as a weather forecast with rain coming up, so you shouldn’t forget your umbrella. The corrections suggested here, are your umbrella for this year of the Rat.

Chinese New Year of the Rat

The Chinese consider the Rat a swift, eager and forward going animal. People born in the year of the Rat are fast in understanding and ambitious; they believe in hard work and reach their goal in an honest way. They are charismatic, clever, and faithful, enjoy society, games and gamble. They own a good intuition and an ability to see things ahead. With sharp senses they know to act at the right moment. They are very romantic, meticulous, organized and orderly. They are normally not big spenders, and if they sometimes do, they immediately feel sorry about it.

Outwardly this year will look more stable and surer, than the preceding years. Many international contracts will be locked and much politics will be made. But under this apparently solid surface, conflicts, tensions and problems will grow. In the picture one can imagine this year like a mountain on the water. The mountain looks substantial, but floats on uncertain basis, like a driving iceberg. A similar combination was present also at the catastrophe of the Titanic. Therefore this year will bring some problems with itself and we better prepare ourselves.

There might be more accidents, which are connected to water (disasters such as Tsunami or the Titanic), air (accidents in aviation) or earth (earthquake, landslides, house collapse...).

Health wise problems, associated with the stomach, intestines and nutrition (cancer, diabetes, obesity, poisoning ...), with kidney, bladder and immune system might come up more often. Moreover, this year is not good for weak hearts.

All of you being born in the years of Horse, Rabbit or Rat or having a problem on your astrological profile with the rat or the elements water, fire and earth should be very careful and precautious this year and not take unnecessary risks.

Please note that the Chinese year begins only on 4 or 5 of February. Who is born thus in January, must take the year before (e.g. if I am born on 1.1.2002, then my year animal will be the Snake, not the Horse.)

The traditional protection against the negative influence of this year is to take a small Jade Ox with you all the time. It may sound crazy, but …

Protective measures against negative influences in the home, office or business for everyone:

I would like to remind you that the glass with salt, water and coins, which was 2007 in the North-east, must be carefully be disposed, preferably far away from home, as it has absorbed a lot of negative energy throughout the year.

v A new glass must be filled with: one third of coarse salt, 6 copper or nickel coins (cents ...), and 1 silver coin (dime ...), and be filled up with water.
Put the whole thing in the South corner in the southernmost room of the house, where it will stay until February 2009.

If your apartment has several floors, you should repeat this and the following measures on each floor, especially when there is an important room to the South.

v Place a water plant (bamboo in water, potato in water …) in the South-west this year against litigation, fraud and burglary.

v Add some metal to the North-west this year (coins, metal plate, metal wind chime ...) against illness, relationship problems and difficulties for women in general.

In addition, there are dangerous energies in the south and the north.
Therefore:

v Don't sit with your back to the south and the face to the North!

Please check the direction of your desk in your office, and make the necessary changes.

If the front of your home or office shows to the South or to the North:

v Please don’t start any renovations this year, which also applies to any North or South corner in each room.

v You also may hang a metal wind chime at the entrance in this case.

You should not travel straight to the direction North. This is especially important for those who have a problem in their profile (see above).

In addition to all these problems, this year also has some good sides.

It will be a very good year for all businesses that deal with real estate, hotels, insurance, health, hi-tech and fashion.

The year of the Rat is a great year for romance and partnership, and it offers excellent opportunities for those of you who are still searching for the right partner.

Especially for all who are born in the year of the Ox, Dragon or Monkey, it will be a very positive and successful year.
